Two things are going to happen in my life that have not in a very long time, both of them for various reasons, some of which are related (pun intended) and others not. First I am going to go to church … well, to an actual building that folks call a church (I live in my church all the time and so am unused to having my faith put into a box, regardless the size of the box or whatever you want to call it). The second one is that I am going to meet (at least I think/hope, if they're there that is) the family of one of my cousins who also happens to be a pastor there (so the chances are pretty good they will be there, lol). Seems they have lived right down the road from me in the next township for many years … and nobody ever bothered to let me know even though I know of two in my family that would have known and could have said something. I am wondering if they knew. I will either have new friends and closer family members after today … or … nothing will have changed. Going to say a prayer for support and understanding as well as an open heart and mind and hope to come away from this unscathed.
